  • How to connect your bank account

An admin connects the bank you pay from in Settings, then Bank Accounts. Tick the ACH debit authorization, click Connect bank account and sign in to your bank. Your business has to be verified first.

  • How to reconnect your bank account

If Cleo Pay asks you to reconnect your bank, sign in at app.cleo-pay.com, go to Settings, then Bank Accounts, and click Reconnect Bank Account. Then sign in to your bank again.

  • Why won't my bank connect?

The most common reasons are that your business isn't verified yet, the authorization box isn't ticked, or the bank window closed before an account was picked. The message on screen tells you which one it is.

  • What is the Cleo Pay balance?

Your Cleo Pay balance is an account that holds money for your business inside Cleo Pay. You can add money from your linked bank, pay vendors from it, and withdraw to your bank. Payments from the balance are the fastest way to pay.

  • Where does the money for a payment come from?

Each time you pay, you choose your Cleo Pay balance or your linked bank. The balance is faster because the money goes straight to the vendor. A linked bank payment first pulls the money into Cleo Pay, then sends it on.

  • How to verify a bank with micro-deposits

If you add a bank by typing its routing and account numbers, Cleo Pay sends small deposits to prove it's yours. When they arrive in 1 to 2 business days, enter the code or the two amounts in Settings, then Bank Accounts.
