# Can I change the email I use to sign in to Cleo Pay?

> Not from inside the app. Edit profile only changes your name, phone number and photo. To change your login email, email support@cleo-pay.com from your current address. A business admin can also invite your new address to the team.

You can't change your sign-in email yourself in the Cleo Pay app. **Edit profile** only changes your name, phone number and profile photo. To change the email you sign in with, write to support@cleo-pay.com from your current address and tell us the new one. If you're on a business team, an admin can also invite your new address.

## What you can change yourself

Click your profile picture to open the menu.

| Menu item | What it changes |
|---|---|
| **Edit profile** | First name, last name, phone number and profile photo |
| **Change password** (or **Set password**) | Your password |

Your sign-in email shows at the top of this menu, but there's no option to edit it.

## Ask us to change it

Email support@cleo-pay.com from the address you sign in with now. Include:

- The email you sign in with now
- The new email you want to use
- The name of your business, or the business that pays you

## If you're on a business team

An admin on your team can add your new address as a new team member:

1. The admin goes to **Settings**, then **Team Members**, and clicks **Add Member**.
2. They enter your new email, pick your role and click **Send Invitation**.
3. You sign up with the new email from the invitation and accept it.
4. The admin finds your old login on the **Active** tab and clicks **Revoke access**.

If you're the only admin, invite the new address as **Admin**. Then sign in with the new email and revoke the old login yourself.

While both logins are active, each takes a seat on the plan. The old seat comes off at the next renewal. See [Invite your team and choose roles](https://cleo-pay.com/help/invite-your-team-and-choose-roles).

## Your business email is different

The business email on **Settings**, then **Company Details**, is where your business gets notices. It isn't your sign-in email. Changing one doesn't change the other.
